Taurus Rising – January 2013
For you Taurus, the Sun is shining its light and energy on the learning angle of your chart for most of January. Travel and educational studies are perfect for you now in the early part of the year as you strive to expand your knowledge about anything and everything. If this means that you also do some travelling, then all the better as any trips will be stimulating for you. Legal issues or matters of publishing or dealing with in-laws may also be things your will concerned with now. Later in the month, the Sun will cross your Midheaven and join Mars in the work and public sector of your chart, the 10th house. You will be working hard this month to improve your standing in your company or business and your need to achieve and get positive results will be very strong, but conflicts at work with bosses and with senior people could ensue if they impose restrictions on you. Use the energy at your disposal to work hard and maybe your will impress those around you with your enthusiasm and drive.
Venus brings a chance to settle some debts or make shrewd investments early in the year moving through your 8th house. Relationships will be intense and the urge to feel and experience love from your partner or lover will be much the stronger in the first week of January. On the 9th as Venus switches into the sign of Capricorn, international relations and connections from abroad may open up possibilities for you. If you enjoy doing any research or investigative work, then early in the month could be a time of successful digging and searching and you may uncover some secrets from the past. Relationships with people of learning and of faith will be good and strong now. Later on in the month, you may be rather tempted to spend some of your hard earned money and as Jupiter turns direct at the end of the month, that temptation will become even yet stronger. The new Moon in Leo on 27th may see you encounter some opposition at home as relationships start to get a little strained. Issues with your mother or with women in general may reach a tipping point, as something comes to an end or revealed through your discussions and encounters.
